Alexis Rogers
Alexis is a talented artist currently based in the mountains of Utah. Specializing in oil and watercolor paintings Alexis has been creating as a serious artist for over 15 years. Having grown up near Utah's Little Cottonwood canyon she spent much of her time snowboarding and camping with her family. Alexis loves painting the vibrant colors of her beautiful mountains and finds much of her inspiration out in nature as well as in the people she meets.
When asked to give advice to other artists Alexis says to surround yourself with other artists to share ideas and get feedback. When you have a creative block switch things up and try something new. Growing your skills as a painter requires lots of practice and patience and you never stop learning and improving.
Alexis is currently teaching painting classes at The Art Cottage in Gardner Village.
